Our client a leading online tour operator with over 25 years experience delivering quality worldwide holidays to the UK market are currently looking for a Marketing Manager to take the reins of it’s Marketing department .The ideal candidate for this Marketing Manager role must have worked as a marketing manager within the travel or airline sectors.
MARKETING MANAGER DUTIES
• Develop and execute a detailed and robust Marketing Strategy that focuses on activities to acquire new customers.
• Take ownership of all online activities.
• Develop a ‘best in class’ on-line Marketing strategy with specific focus on Pay Per Click, natural search, banner ads & affiliate networks.
• Ensuring our websites are fully optimised for search engines including back links and social media.
• Ensuring the strategy increases the company’s visibility on key search engines to primarily drive new enquiries to the sales team.
• Monitor and report our page placements on key search terms.
• Take responsibility for the re-launch of the new company website.
• Constantly refresh and add new content to our websites.
• Own & develop our customer database
• Own and manage our Marketing budget and deliver all strategies to target.
• Communicate effectively and regularly with the Marketing team through frequent group meetings.
• Manage all on-going PR strategies.
MARKETING MANAGER REQUIRED SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES
• Extensive web experience is fundamental to this role.
• Evidence of increasing inbound enquiries from web marketing activity is extremely important.
• Experience and ability to work in a high-pressured environment without losing focus on the delivery of results.
• Able to display entrepreneurial skills to research and implement new business strategies.
• Able to demonstrate excellent communication and influencing skills
• Capable of effectively managing a team through experience and delivering results.
• An energetic personality is required to work with this dynamic team.
• Be commercially and customer focused with a desire to drive strong target driven performance.
• Previous senior marketing experience is essential with travel experience being highly desirable.
